The Amazing Spider-Man (a photo)

Spider-Man was one of my favorite comic-book characters when I was younger. This picture is from a big Marvel Comics exhibit held at a Philadelphia museum in the summer of 2019. It was a great time.

Autumn in the Smoky Mountains (a photo)

This looks like an awfully nice backdrop for a wedding, right? Well, that’s exactly what it was in October 2019 when Rachel’s brother got married. I got to hang with Rachel’s family during that trip to Tennessee.

Hangin’ in Old City (a photo)

I love Philly. I grew up in the area, and I have a lot of pride in the city. Philly has an incredible Mural Arts program that funds and creates beautiful murals throughout the city. There’s also tons of random art, like this wall of graffiti near a parking lot in the Old City neighborhood.

Black Lives Matter in Philly (a photo)

Here’s a picture I took a couple of weeks ago while walking around Philly with Rachel and Nico. During our walks, we noticed several Black Lives Matter signs – some drawn on the sidewalk like this one, and others propped in the windows of houses.

This picture was taken by Rachel (who’s an amazing photographer, by the way) during a trip we took to Sleepy Hollow, New York. That was an incredible trip. We took tons of pictures, but my favorites were from the old cemetery, where we spent at least an hour or so wandering around.

The Parthenon at Dusk (a photo)

Here’s another picture from our trip to Nashville in 2019. This is a good shot I got of the Parthenon as the sunlight was fading. During one of our last days in the city, we spent some time in Centennial Park, though we didn’t get a chance to go inside the awesome building.

Dolly and Johnny in Nashville (a photo)

Due to the pandemic and self-isolation, I’ve been thinking a lot about a couple of the trips Rachel and I have taken in the past year or so. Here’s a picture from our trip to Tennessee last October. It’s a mural of two patron saints of Nashville in a trendy café we stopped at.
