Why do you question my love?
What more do I need to show?
When I told you that I loved you
The only thing it could do was grow
We’ve settled into a rhythm
Things have gotten a bit stale
But that doesn’t mean my love is gone
Or that it has become brittle or frail
When I told you I’d love you forever
I meant it with every fiber in my being
My love has gone quieter recently
But that doesn’t mean it’s fleeing
Please, just trust the feelings I have
The sun will not die anytime soon
And even if it does in our lifetime
We’ll float together like stardust on the moon
