Sleepwalking on wintry road
Dead trees and dead leaves
Gray and blackness of my dreams

I adore this! The tanka is one of my favourite poetic forms! 🙂

I really enjoy doing double ones. I have a few inspired by Frank O’Hara which I have sent out to journals!

I’ve never tried a double one! I’ll have to check that out. I’ll check out your blog, too. Thanks for reading and the comments 🙂

It gives you a little more room opposed to a singular tanka! If you have an idea that you want to boil down to a Tanka, but you don’t want to be too limited, try a double one! I hope you like my blog! ☺️
