I never thought I’d be the type of person who dresses up their dog. But, alas, here I am.
We’ve recently bought Nico an Eagles and Phillies jersey – the football and baseball teams of our city, Philadelphia. Our neighbors love his little outfits and they show off Nico’s Philly pride.
Nevertheless, he hates it when we put them on him. So, he’s probably thinking, “These stupid humans think this is cute? Get over it.”
Nico, though, is a Philly dog through-and-through. Rachel adopted him from someone who was living in South Philly when he was a puppy. And he’s been living in the Philly area with us ever since.
We’ve yet to find out if the jerseys are “good luck” for our teams. But they look cute on him, so maybe it doesn’t matter?
