Change of Seasons (a poem)

The seasons change, as do people
We get stagnant and we grow
Sometimes sad, sometimes gleeful
The summer heat and the winter snow

The seasons change, and so do I
Moods shift like the colors of leaves
Crisp autumns and hot Julys
We give and we also receive

The seasons change, that’s the way
Of nature and also of humans
One day bright, one day gray
The light and darkness find fusion
