Never Give Up (a poem)

Our lives are long, winding roads
We never know what’s next
In a second, things explode
Leaving us utterly perplexed

But we must keep driving
Searching for light ahead
We must keep trying
To avoid the dead-ends

Don’t drive off the cliff
Pull yourself out of despair
Try to see life’s gifts
If you must, say a prayer

Life can get difficult
But please never give up
Hold on for the miracles
The moments that fill you up
