dance in the street, move to the music
of democracy – our long national nightmare
is over, we’ve been chopped to pieces
by a man filled with grievances –
we’re hoping he fades away
locked in his gilded towers
removed from power
but does he still have sway over
American minds, seeking to find
a protector for their antiquated
ways of life? we shall see,
but try not to worry
stay tuned to the present
celebrate healing & growth
take these deep wounds
apply the magic touch of
millions of voters
