Spider-Man was one of my favorite comic-book characters when I was younger. This picture is from a big Marvel Comics exhibit held at a Philadelphia museum in the summer of 2019. It was a great time.
Rachel and I went to the exhibit with her brother (Mike) and his then-fiancée (Stephanie). Mike is a big Marvel and comic books fan, and Spiderman happens to be his favorite.
The exhibit, which was at the Franklin Institute, delved into the history of Marvel Comics and included superhero costumes worn in some of the movies. I’ve always been a comics fan, mostly because my uncles passed on the tradition to me. I don’t read comics as much now, though.
Still, the exhibit was very cool. It’s another great memory from last summer – back when going to museums in person was still a thing!
